What is The Coach Space?

The Coach Space is a platform for life coaches, executive coaches and other specialist coaches for showcasing their written content and helping people connect with coaches. Behind the scenes we help coaches with marketing, which leaves them with more time for coaching their clients.

Are the coaches qualified?

Credentials are mentioned on each coach’s profile, but not always. To verify a qualification, we recommend you contact the accreditation body, eg the IPC, or check the Licences & Certification section of their LinkedIn profile.

How do I hire a life coach?

The first step will be to book a free consultation. The purpose of the free coaching session is to see if there’s a good fit. It’s also your opportunity to ask any questions about the coach’s programme, terms, payment schedule etc. We recommend you have a few consultations before deciding on a coach to work with.

Once you have decided to work with a coach, you are entering into a contract directly with the coach. The Coach Space is not an intermediary nor an agent. Coaches are sole-traders who operate under the jurisdiction of the country they live in.

How do I pay for the sessions?

Each coach is a sole-trader with their own terms of business. Please check with the coach when you have your initial consultation.

How do I reschedule or cancel coaching session?

To change any of your session bookings, contact the coach directly. Bear in mind each coach has their own cancellation terms stating how much notice is required. It is best to check their terms before agreeing to work with a coach.

Will someone coach me for free?

Most coaches will offer a free consultation, in some cases a complete session for free. To get free life coaching, you have two avenues. You can find trainee coaches offering a minimum of 3 sessions gratis, at Coach Me Free. The ethos of coaching is to offer pro-brono coaching when a coach feels it appropriate – therefore it is possible to get free coaching from qualified and experienced coach. However you’ll have to approach coaches individually. Each case would be assessed on it’s own merits, and coaches will use their own discretion.

Can I get affordable life coaching?

You may find some coaches open to negotiation if you have limited income. You can discuss this with the coach on the consultation call.
